Dr. Kristine Mortimer

Dr. Kristie Mortimer was born and raised in Wyoming where she attended the University of Wyoming and earned her BS in Molecular Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Iowa State University where she met her husband, Dr. Jeb Mortimer.

Kristie worked in the Seattle area over 20 years. Her work has included being the medical director at Sno-Wood Veterinary Hospital where half of the patients were exotic pets. She then did 10 years of emergency work at ACCES. Currently, her work with SVA includes seeing both in-clinic exams and telemedicine. Dr. Mortimer loves people and their relationship with their pets and continues to feel privileged to be invited into a special part of their lives.

The Drs. Mortimer have four children, one dog, two cats and multiple chickens. Her hobbies include being with friends, reading, and continuing to be curious about the world.
